Role Overview

As a Field Lead at 3T's Engineering, you'll manage, lead, and physically work alongside concrete crews on active job sites, overseeing all aspects of concrete resurfacing and exterior work. You'll coordinate crews, ensure quality execution, drive safety culture, and serve as the main point of contact between your team and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a field crew (typically 2-4 people) on assigned projects
  • Assign daily tasks and coordinate crew workflow to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee all concrete resurfacing, finishing, and exterior work to company standards
  • Lead by example: follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines without exception
  • Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and daily site safety inspections
  • Monitor and maintain all equipment and tools assigned to your crew
  • Communicate regularly with customers and leadership on progress and issues
  • Document daily work activities, crew hours, and materials used

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in concrete work, construction, or related trades
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role (crew lead, foreman, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of concrete resurfacing, finishing, and exterior work
  • Problem-solving mindset — you troubleshoot issues quickly under pressure
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Bonus Points

  • Concrete, forming, or hardscape experience
  • Previous concrete foreman or equivalent trade experience
  • Customer service or client-facing experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Role Overview

As a Decorative Concrete Installer, you'll be at the heart of our operations — learning, building, and mastering the craft of decorative concrete work. You'll work alongside experienced installers and field leads on residential and commercial projects throughout the St. Louis area. No prior concrete experience required — we'll train you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare concrete surfaces for resurfacing: grinding, etching, pressure washing, and removing debris
  • Mix and apply concrete overlays, epoxies, sealers, and specialty coatings
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment: trowels, grinders, polishers, mixers
  • Apply decorative finishes including stamped patterns, color stains, and sealants
  • Screed, float, and finish concrete surfaces to smooth, uniform results
  • Work on hands and knees, lift and carry materials (up to 100 lbs regularly)
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly store all tools and equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and work safely in all weather

What You Bring

  • Physically fit — can regularly lift 50-100 lbs, work on hands/knees, and perform demanding labor
  • Reliable — show up ready to work, on time, committed to the job
  • Willing to learn — open to training and mastering new skills
